Where Is This Tragedy

By DestinysSaviour

Somewhere in a giant tide

Of red rose pedals and suicide

A boy in grace lay down to die

In a place he planned a final good-bye

He held his breath and refused to look

Held a knife so refusal took

A better side where his hand shook

As he cut into his short story book

Where? Oh where?

Is that answer we're looking for?

They're not here

So what are we waiting for?

You're too scared

Fear is what it's all for

Too scared to care

All the things I would die for

The joyful sounds began to die

And the forgotten spirits began to cry

A life short lived so ask him why

There is no answer, but it was worth a try

Where? Oh where?

Is that answer we're looking for?

They're not here

So what are we waiting for?

You're too scared

Fear is what it's all for

Too scared to care

All the things I would die for

Somewhere in this morbid wave

Of lusts for blood and things we crave

A second boy lay down in pain

Shook his head to shake him sane

But within our sanity, we're all insane

We say it's for others, but we say it in vain

The only words true to him he did claim

But it is still his sorrowed shame

Where? Oh where?

Is that answer we're looking for?

They're not here

So what are we waiting for?

You're too scared

Fear is what it's all for

Too scared to care

All the things I would die for

Where? Oh where?

Is that answer we're looking for?

They're not here

So what are we waiting for?

You're too scared

Fear is what it's all for

Too scared to care

All the things I would die for

Die for…
