By God’s design,

we are a skin kaleidoscope.

- DC Talk

Different

We’re all created differently

By the God up above

‘Here’s your personality

Sent to you with love’

We all have different feelings

Different emotions, different cares

Some of us like heavy metal rock

While some like fluffy teddy bears

Some people are opposites

Some are “dead alike”

Others like sky diving

And some a soothing hike

Since everybody’s different

And that’s a good thing, too

Why does our skin matter?

Whether it’s white or black or blue?

God gave us our colors

Why can’t we just accept?

Why can’t we trust Him?

After all, he’s adept

In what He does

He knows what he’s doing

What does it take to trust

Instead of sitting, stewing?

What do you think God’s view is up there

While we’re here insulting His creations?

What does our skin color matter, anyway

When we’re all from different nations?
