I Believe

I believe the Lord has the power

To do what He thinks right

I believe the Lord exists

His control is out of my sight

The Lord’s love unfathomable

His strength and power vast

I believe He listens

Though He may not answer fast

God may not answer your prayers

Just how you want Him to

But that doesn’t mean He

Doesn’t listen to you

You don’t want Him to ignore you

But isn’t that a little unfair

As He sits back as we live our lives

Passing Him by without a care?
