Window

Through the window to his soul

I see a story never told

I see a little boy who cried

But no one cared and no one tried

His dirty face scrunched up in tears

His tiny hands shaky with fear

That little boy is now a man

So angry, full of hate

This man today his eyes burn cold

No longer does he care if life is torn

Be it his or be it your

He's seen too much and lived to long

His hands don't shake

When he shoots me dead

Poor little boy

So lost so torn
