BIPOLAR-MAN: X-TREME
APPOINTMENT SIXTY-ONE: Obligatory Recap
Previously in Bipolar-man...
In the first story arc, Bipolar-man and Literal boy almost save the city from the NIMROD agents. They decide they need to expand the team so that they can defeat the NIMROD agents, who are led by Bipolar-man's nemesis, Nim. Well, actually, the reason was that they discovered they'd get raises if they were more effective, though they'll deny it when confronted (deny Run away screaming murderer.). After denying various competent heroes, they were confronted with I.A.D. In an amazing display of stupidity, he gave them 70's dude.
Meanwhile, Nim and the NIMRODS are told by the Shmoos to defeat TEAM BIPOLAR. They (halfheartedly) attempt to do so, and then (halfheartedly) fail. The Shmoos decide to take the situation into their own hands.
TEAM BIPOLAR is attacked by a second and, surprisingly, more competent set of NIMROD agents. After a series of plot devices, Fred (the local pyromaniac/self-proclaimed Cheerful serial arsonist) is captured by the Shmoos.
Nobody cares.
Bipolar-man meets two people from the future, Safari Bill and Miles the evil butterfly collector. After more plot devices, they prove their worth as bodyguards by getting defeated. Eventually, 70's dude, Literal boy, and I.A.D. somehow rescue him, while still ignoring Fred. The Shmoos reveal their true headquarters, and the newly-introduced Dr. Glove bribes TEAM BIPOLAR to save the world. After evading yet another set of NIMROD agents, the One Who Is Two secretly puts his machinations to work...
After Nim and General Shmoo are defeated, the essential self-destruct scene occurs. Immediately afterwards, a true threat makes himself known: Apollyon. By far the most dangerous foe TEAM BIPOLAR encountered, he defeated all but Bipolar-man himself. He was killed by Bipolar-man. Later, as Dr. Glove investigated the body, he makes a horrific discovery...
Now TEAM BIPOLAR is on vacation, but danger lurks around every other corner. Where is Apollyon? What is he planning? What of the One Who Is Two? And what about Franko of the Nephilim? Find out, in Bipolar-man Z- er, Bipolar-man: X-Treme!
