AN: Thank you very much to everyone who reviewed, I really don't know what to say: Needa S. (Yeah, I was sad when I wrote that poem, too lol), Scottishhighroad (Thanks so much. Your review really touched me), silentescape (I got a lot of reviews from you. I really don't know what to say, though... your reviews were so nice. I've never gotten praise like that for my poetry. And I know, I do need to work on my vocabulary!!!! Can't believe you made it to chapter 3 or more... I know it's a little boring but it will spice up a little later in the story I promise. You think my style is relaxed and natural. Ha! I try, thanks. And yes, I'm going somewhere with the pizza thing. You'll find out later. Thanks for the advice on Butterfly Underwear... I know, I need to stop explaining things so fast. To tell you the truth? The "wake-up smack" was at first just somethign to go along with the previous rhyme, then I realized later that it really did fit in the poem. I'm glad you think it's okay, because I thought it was forcing the rhyme a littel bit lol. I posted 'What Happened to This World' on and got some not-so-positive reviews on it. I'm glad you didn't take offense, though. Thanks for the welcome!Woah, my author note is turning into a paragraph!)
Everything He Did For Us
First He gave us the world
Then animals and flowers
He gave us the sunny days
And cool spring rain showers
He gave us food for us to eat
And appetites to go along
Voices to communicate
And praise Him with our song
He wanted a perfect world
For us not to live apart
But that was impossible
We weren’t all that smart
Eve ate the apple given her
We would do the same
Adam sinned, too, though
He also was to blame
The Devil offered them great power
Told them God was lying
And they believed him of course
Then peace started dying
After all He did for us
And had yet to do more
He died for all our sins
And yet we still ignore
Everything He did for us
His deeds big and small
We take for granted
Every day, yes them all
