A/N: Ok, you know those challenges where the author has to write a story using only a hundred words? Well, I decided to challenge myself to do that, because one of my authors did it in a book of hers. She actually managed to get exactly one hundred, whereas I am four over, but who’s counting? :P


Faerie Faith

The girl gasped. The most beautiful sight lay before her, a breathtaking scene of glistening truth. This was, indeed, a faerie. It twirled and leapt and danced and laughed, beckoning the girl on. Join us, it invited. The girl took a hesitant step onward, transfixed. Leave your troubles behind, the faerie called. Another step was taken. The faerie giggled and twirled. Come, be happy! it seduced. Again one more step. The faerie laughed joyfully and called once more. Come, take my hand! It paused long enough to extend one beautiful hand. The girl hesitated one last time before taking the ultimate leap in faith.
