This breif little poem needs a little explaining - it's about two people who've lost evrything meeting every day on the same train as they go home from work to... ah.... get things out of their system... in quite an intimate way. I can't really claim the idea as I got it from ah HMS Wolfstar fanfic, but I got it stuck in my head.

Eigteen minutes

Eighteen minutes on a London train,

Time for us to end our pain,

Each day, each week, each month, each year -

we start in love and end in fear

White city, Bond Street, Chauncery Lane

Deep in pleasure, deep in pain.

Eighteen minutes for passion and lust -

No time for love, can't wait for trust.

Mornington Crescent, Leicester square,

In love and war all is fair,

Eighteen minutes on a london train -

Just time enough to end our pain.
