Thoughts of a little girl
Author:

I got the idea for this poem when I saw my cousin, Caitlin, daydreaming in the garden. I wondered what she was thinking about so I asked her and she replied "her special place" "can I come" I asked "maybe you can come visit" she giggled in reply. Caitlin

Thoughts of a little girl

I just want the chance to be free

to fly

I dream of a place where nobody can find me.

I'll run and hide,

but you won't catch me.

No,

I'm too quick for you.

One day I'll fly away to my magical place,

maybe you can come visit...
