“intimacy deficiency”

everyone around me seems to have an intimacy deficiency!

why is it that we can all show hatred so well

through rumours, insults and violence -

but no one can ever show it when they truly care about someone?

we are all guilty of this

maybe we are all just scared of rejection.

we are afraid to open up to the ones that we love,

we dont want them to freak out or be uncomfortable

so we keep it inside, hoping that they will show their affection first

denying them of the truth, denying them of the knowledge

that they do have a friend, someone does care.

sometimes it's not enough just to THINK people care,

sometimes you need to hear it in order to believe that it is true.

we all have an intimacy deficiency!
