TheTragediesofMagic(Part One)

Prologue

The sorceress looked upon the sky, it looked heavenly and peaceful. She was appalled at how nature could be so calm when, upon her mist, were yet the endless tortures she had to bear every morning she woke up, every day when she was training, every minute she walked upon the golden soil. So much had happened in her few months of travel, and yet she remembered and cherished every day that followed. Her mind flashed back to the time when her father still existed, back to the time where she ran away from her palace.

The fresh mint smell of her room still clung onto her, like a dog begging for food from a stranger, longing to be taken care of.

In the distance, she could hear a voice calling out to her. She answered back in her gentle voice, and then looked back towards the yellow maples. It was autumn again. She remembered the last time when it was autumn; she had lost all that she found most important.

Appearing in front of the young maiden was a boy; he had natural blonde hair, and wore a red bandana on his forehead. His voice was soft and tender. His face was exhausted and sweaty, but still, his smile shone upon the sun, and he looked as handsome as ever, still in his white and black training uniform.

The handsome young teen walked up to his goddess and enclosed his arms around her. He started to murmur sweet words in her ear and kissing her neck.

She made no sudden movement to stop him. She knew her life was already perfect as it already was, and that she couldn’t ask for anything more.

But she did want more, she wanted her other beloved ones back, the loved ones who ended up with another fate, a fate apart from hers, the fate called death.

But she could not change their destiny, not ever, not again. She had once tried to cheat destiny, and it only resulted in more sorrow. Yes, sorrow, her sorrow.

She felt his breath upon her neck, and turned around to look into his deep blue eyes. The first time she had seen how beautiful his eyes were, she had been sure she’d fall into them, and bit by bit, she started to show her loving affection towards him.

She raised her pale hands up into the air and wrapped them around his neck. So much had happened, but ever since she met him, she began to turn back to her old self again. She pressed her lips onto his and he, willingly, did the same.

Yes, he.

He was the one who freed her, and now, her life would be alive again, alive as it once was before.

Now, the story was coming back to her, it was coming alive again, and she would be sure to live to tell it.
