They're slowly coming back,

those old feelings of love,

the ones I had for you,

that never seemed to be enough.

And I know its no different now,

Im still just a sister in your eyes,

and maybe thats all Ill ever be,

but I feel I need to try.

A whole year has passed,

and everything has changed,

accept for the feelings I locked up,

and now you're far out of range.

Its fine though,

I wouldnt speak them if I could,

and even if I did,

you wouldnt smile where you stood.

I'd get that same sad smile,

and then you'd quickly turn away,

but dont worry about it,

cause Im taking this to my grave.
