The lip-locked lovers on the bench—
The sighing bloke, the swooning wench—
Are unawares that their elation
Seems to us mere salivation
Paired with excess oral suction.
Thus, you see, by clear deduction:
Love, to lovers, is the crux,
But love, to loners, really sucks.
