A Bond

There’s a special bond between us,

My wonderful mother and me,

A bond so strongly fastened,

It’s clear as day to see,

I care for this bond so deeply, for

It’s the concert glue connecting me to you,

This bond of which I speak of,

In case you couldn’t guess,

Is love so plain and true,

This bond of love convinces me,

That no matter what I say or do,

That you will always love me too.
