The Void is all devouring
omnivorously dispatching all exsistance
Disheartened by sunsets falling
afraid it will forever disappear
Crushed by moonlights sorrow
tears of stars overwelmed by night's gloom
Caressed by Atlantic's waves brushing against my throat
Feeling the salty kisses of release,
licking my teeth, slithering down my tongue
Gasping, swollowing, embracing.................. I look back,
Glimpses of people once loved
places once lived and a life of promise so long ago lead
And then once consumed.................NOTHING
The Void is all devouring
