Kim-The-Great: Thank you for your advice! Tell me what you think of this newly revised chapter. I checked for typos, hopefully I fixed them all!
Adrian Peterson dropped his sunglasses in the passenger seat of his expensive black car. The brunette got his backpack from the back seat and climbed out of the car, grabbing his worn football from the floor. He spun the football on his finger (AN: Can you spin a football on your finger?) on his way into Rocky High School. “ Adrian!” someone said a few moments after he walked in. Looking to his right he saw his best friend, Robby Owens, waving.
“Hey Robby,” he said and the two locked hands and patted each other’s backs in a friendly way. “What’s up?”
The raven haired boy shrugged. “Not much,” he answered. “I think Caitlyn was looking for you.”
“Oh, where’d she go?” he asked. Robby shrugged again and took out some textbooks from his locker and stuffed them intohis backpack before shutting his locker.
“Look, it’s Frank and Pete,” Robby said, motioning with his head down the hall. Looking, Adrian saw his two burly friends making their way down the hall, shoving all the little freshmen out of their path.
“Adrian,” Frank said when they reached them. “Your girlfriend is lookin’ for ya. Said somethin’ about somebody doin’ somethin’ with somebody else somewhere.”
“Yeah, that’s what Robby was saying,” he said. “Did you see where she went?” Frank nodded. After a few moments of silence he asked impatiently, “Well, where did she go?”
“Oh, well I saw her go down a hall, but I don’t know where she went,” he said slowly.
Adrian rolled his eyes and said, “Come on.” The four boys headed down the hall in search of Adrian’s girlfriend, Caitlyn. A little ways down the hall they were walking in, a gawky boy by the name of Phillip looked up from his locker. His brown eyes widened and he could feel himself start to sweat in nervousness at seeing the four boys. Reaching into his pocket he pulled out a little white and pink guinea pig beanie baby and started to stroke it nervously (AN: The idea of Phillip having a beanie baby is Kim-The-Great’s! Thank-you for the idea and helping me in general!) Adrian smirked when he saw the greasy haired kid with his little pink beanie baby. “Hello there Phillip,” he said and they stopped in front of him.
Phillip squeaked and the rate of his petting increased. “Hi Adrian!” he said. Adrian smirked and flicked off his thick black glasses. He started walking down the hall again; something better had caught his eye. “There you are!” a blonde girl shrieked, getting a few stares, and gave Adrian a hug. “I’ve been looking everywhere for you!”
“Here I am!” he answered and gave the girl a peck on the lips. “Frank said you had something to tell me?”
The small blonde nodded happily. “I found something out about that little faggy boy you always pick on.”
“Oh?” he questioned, now interested.
“Yup. You know that gothic boy he hangs out with? I heard they were making out in the boy’s fourth floor bathroom yesterday afternoon. Just thought you’d want to know,” she said with a smirk.
“Hmm,” he mumbled. “I knew that guy was gay. Come on, I’ll walk you to class,” he said when the bell rang. “Remember, practice after school!” he called over his shoulder to his three friends. They nodded and headed off to class too.
The day went by quickly and Adrian was starting to get irritated because he hadn’t seen Caden all day. Well, that’s not true. He did see him once, but the gothic kid was with him. And that kid scared him. Adrian would never admit it, though. Now he was heading to his locker before practice, followed by Robby and Frank. His face brightened into an evil smirk. “Hey there, fairy boy,” he said and stopped in front of the small boy’s locker.
