It's 7:35 in the morning as I type this sentence. Whoohoo. I'm that insomniac-ized. Namely cause I stayed up to catch the FREAKIN' PREMIERE of the new System of a Down video. Now I can be counted as one of the first to watch it. Damn you, 7:00 AM premiere.

Anyway, this is the second of my one-chapter stories. Not depressing like the last one. This one's told through a narrator. It's really short, but kinda sweet. Personally, it's not the best I can do, but hey. You people will laugh at anything I write.

And as a treat, I'll even throw in my usual biting sarcasm and sad attempts at humor, which strangely work. Cool.

Hi. I'm the narrator. Call me Joe. Cause that's my name. I'm here to tell you this story. But before I can tell you that story, I have to tell you this story, so you can understand that story, and get all the details I include in that story. In this story. Get the story? Er, point? I hope so.

This particular story is about one of those typical angsty high-school couples I seem to enjoy writing about. I mean, look at the story I do with my girlfriend. That's angsttastic stuff, right there. But this is a different angsty high-school couple. Don't ask why I put the dash in high-school, it's kinda natural.

Their names? Kara and Connor. A couple of emo kids, or something. You write about your own kind, ya know? Anyway, in some sort of typical RPG fashion, even though this isn't an RPG, and it shouldn't be, they've been friends since they were little kids, and eventually grew up, fell in love, blah blah blah, pork roast. You know. It's much too early for me to have a good sense of humor. Read something else if you want humor. Like TAoL Games. You know. That one thing.

Now that the blatant and shameless self-promotion section is over, and you know their names, let me tell you about their tragic, angst filled... tragedy, I guess. Don't worry, this story gets better worded later on. The two lived in Texas, one of the biggest gun-toting Bush-supporting Nazi racist states out there. I'm not saying all Texans are like that. Just most of them. I mean, look at Bush. The man's fucked up, I tell you. Subliminable.

Kara and Connor were out on one of their daily walks, which you grow to love when you're with the one you love. They walked to a nearby town, a town known for it's high murder rate. The ironic thing here is, Connor's last words were "I'll love you until I die." Yeah, I know, I can't make death funny. Other people can, but not me. I'm using way too much sarcasm and not enough storytelling. I suck.

So they died. And that's all that's important. Cause now I can move on to that other story. This story's about a growing friendship, between another guy and girl. But there's less angst. And no emo-ness. Now, they don't know this, but this couple was reincarnated from the dead Kara and Connor. Might this help? Yeah.

Cut to a few years later, in high school. This new couple has pulled a Kara and Connor and fallen in love. But it was no ordinary love. And I don't mean between a man and a dog, that's too not ordinary. They were REALLY in love. I mean, like, REALLY. They weren't afraid to show affection in front of anyone. I mean anyone. Like, even their parents. Or their friends. Or anyone, for that matter. They would eventually get married, but that's not important.

Jumping to junior year, the same year Kara and Connor were in when they got shot. The boy had a dream of his "past," meaning about Connor and his life. Simultaneously, the girl had a dream about Kara. They met in their dreams, and you know, fell in love in their dreams, etc etc.

The next day, they both found eachother, when the boy made a slip. Instead of saying the girl's name, he called her Kara. The girl didn't seem to mind, she smiled and called him Connor. From that moment on, they felt more in love than they ever did before that moment.

Wasn't that great, sarcastic, stupid, and romantic? It sure wasn't great, but it was definitely the rest. This is dedicated to someone. I don't know who. But if you feel it should be dedicated to you, go ahead and think that way. So you'll feel special about having an ENTIRE CHAPTER dedicated to you. Then again I might dedicate an entire STORY to someone else, so you won't feel special for long. Ha ha!
