Disclaimers ‘n’ crap: Haihai peeps! Well, I was taking a bike ride with my parents the other day down to Greenwood Cemetery and I suddenly started thinking about death. Thinking back to these thoughts (and waiting for something on the iMac to load), I came up with this poem. Enjoy!

What would I be, were you to leave my side?

What would I be, if I lost you forever?

What would I be, if I never again heard your voice?

What would I be, if I never again held you in my arms?

The sun sets today.

I can see myself without you.

The soft, happy wind chimes of my heart have stopped ringing.

The warm breeze of comfort has died down.

The chilling cold of darkness and despair envelops me.

In my grief for you, I am lost in it.

I try not to look there, to the future that could be.

I want to stay here, in the present,

With you.

I know it’s kinda sad (what I’m about to say), but I think about my imaginary characters like this. I don’t wanna lose them ever! (huggles)
