AN: Thanks so much to: PrettyElf (Thanks, I agree, The Good Samaritan is one of the first Bible stories I think I ever learned. I love it, and I have to say it's a lot easier to put into a poem than Esther's story!) silentescape (Yeah, I know, actually that was from my own youth group camping trip a few years ago. I just put it into my own words... like I could remember the exact ones anyway! Thanks! By the way, do you think it's publish-worthy? Of course, I've fixed all teh mistakes you pointed out, so they're all fixed, and with another few go-throughs with spell check... Lol yeah, that's funny about teh Audrey thing. My sister is way crazier these days than her though. Anyway, I think you're right. I would marry an unbeliever if I truly loved him, and if that was what God wanted for me. But otherwise, my parents are way too strict on who I date. I might as well forget about firm unbelievers, because I cherish my relationship with my parents far more than any relationship with a guy, know what I mean? I figure I should just go along with what my parents say, because it would be far too stressful to disagree with them anyway) TheWolfGirlSorceress (I don't think I'm going to keep going with Butterfly Underwear, but thanks for reviewing! I know I need to go back adn fix some mistakes... but I'm working reallyhard on another book right now so I'm sorry if I don't get the time lol being lazy)
I believe in the Lord
Despite what you say
Our minds are all jumbled
By the nonsense these days
On an earth where beauty
Overthrows personality
Where beliefs are a way
To escape reality
Where you’re judged
By how you appear
The real day of judgment
Is dang’rously near
On that day it won’t matter
What you appear to be
Before a God who knows all
Who in your heart can see
I believe in a God
Who sees inside me
No outer shell here
He has set me free
