We're wizards. The earth – Aratpange – feeds off of us and we feed off the earth, completely interdependent in this endless circle of life. Crops need a perfect balance of the elements to survive. Too much sunlight can dry it out, too much water could drown it, but with the right combination…

Well humans – and sad to say wizards – are becoming exactly like those elements. Earth is being flooded, overrun by bloodthirsty people, and at the same time it is suffering a drought, starving for the magic that normally feeds it. We are the drought.

When it was decided that earth must be purged of its wizards it created a large imbalance in the workings of Aratpange. The humans began to conquer and destroy without the magicians to regulate. After all, the wizards were the ones to relate closest with the earth, they could communicate with the winds and the trees, blend with Aratpange, feel her hunger and pain. They knew what to feed her and when, how to cure her ailments and heal her wounds. The wizards nurtured the earth and in turn she nurtured them, providing them with the food, shelter, and power necessary for their survival and thus her survival.

When they were destroyed, the gaggling humans, unaware that a spirit even existed within the soils, took over, destroyed, raped, and destroyed some more. The magic held within her core – the only source of Aratpange's survival – was slowly being released and used where it shouldn't be. On riches, wealth, power. For no one man is smart enough to conquer a nation on his own, it requires a little bit of magic, no matter how small, a pinch could do the trick.

And that is where we come in. We have been invited back to the planet in order to take the vengeance of Mother, to cure her of her hurts, and most of all, unite as one.
