Blackness,

Thick velvet

Heavy with dark

And sadness.

It surrounds me,

Suffocates me,

Chokes me with its musk.

I have lived in this place

For too long,

Never hoping

That I could ever pass on

From my jail.

But then a beam

Pierces the blanket

And I am bathed in the glow

Of Healing Light.

And in the trance

That takes me over,

I begin to move on,

Through the graveyards

Of my memory and past,

Into the future, now growing clear.

All because of a drop

Of Healing Light.
