Tap, tap, tap goes my pen.

I repeat the line again and again.

The words in my head will not flow.

From my mind to the paper, my ideas will not go.

All I want is to write something great.

I want to write of love, fear, and hate.

I just want to write a story that rhymes.

I want to write words that ring like chimes.

But all my inspiration has gone away.

There aren’t many words left for me to say.

I’ve even asked God to help me out.

I just want to jump up, scream, and shout!

All I starve for is some inspiration one of these days.

When will I get out of this writer’s block phase?
