I am my

bones, cobbled together,

barely holding onto each other,

clinging by a thread,

balancing tightrop walking caging in

what else I am

I am my

insides, quivering and vital,

vulnerable to

any attacks you may have to bring

against me-

one crunch, one crack in the armor,

snip the right thread and my heart lies bare.

This is a delicate balance tightrope walk

and if I am not held caged in

who knows what will spill out onto your

destroyer's feet?

Step lightly-

this acrobat has no parasol.
