Yet another crappy piece by yours truely. I'm having issues getting anything to work as of late. It's most upsetting. Let's call this a 'warm-up piece'. :-)

It’s something we all aspire to

and we admire those who have achieved it.

But what does it really take?

Is it only people with certain personalities

or certain backgrounds

that can attain it?

Is it limited to social boundaries?

The rich or poor?

The extroverted or the introverted?

And why is it that one has to expend so much energy

to acquire the ability to do things with ease?

Why can’t it be simple?

I am left to wonder

who it is that decides who is strong

and why they didn’t pick me.
