Then suddenly she woke up. Woke up to a strong grip encasing her hand. For a few minutes, she was skeptic- unable to open her eyes. Tossing her head from side to side, she managed to open her eyes. Everything was blurry, but slowly coming into focus. The first thing to catch her eye was her deceitful boyfriend, gripping onto her hand with tears streaking down his face. Momentarily, she found herself confused, unable to comprehend between reality and the previous events.

-had I dreamed it all? Was it really my imagination running away with me?-

Looking away from him, she studied her surroundings. Quickly, she realized she was in a hospital. A small gasp of shock as she looked down at herself. Half her body was bandaged, blood seeping through the appendages. Not only that, she was wired to strange machines and had tubes adhered all over her body. Frowning, she looked back to him. Her mouth opened to speak, but no words came out. finally able to find his voice, he choked out his words. "Julia, you're awake! Oh my god, I've been worried sick. I've spent the last seven weeks straight by your side. I've only left a few times, I couldn't bear to leave you like this. Julia.. I-I love you. I'm so glad you're okay." She just stared blankly at him. After it registered with her that it was indeed a dream, she managed to smile for him. Wiping away runaway tears, he stooped over to envelope her in a gentle hug and kiss her forehead.
