Credo

I believe in second chances,

the concept of karma,

the power of one,

the theory of evolution,

the magic of watching a sunset,

monsters under my bed, the Boogeyman, ghosts with unfinished business.

But bad first impressions are the result of anxiety.

I believe in love at first sight,

in reincarnation,

in life after death,

in same-sex marriages,

life on other planets, pro-choice, capital punishment.

And I believe that the “nook”— the space between the arm and torso— is the best part of the male anatomy.
