Prologue:

The young fifteen year old flopped onto her bed in disgust as she sighed heavily. The wind was blowing through her fancy curtained window and a light breeze hit her long brown hair as it dangled off the bed hitting the pale purple and mauve comforter. Her green eyes focused on the ceiling as the words her father had spoken to her just hours before entered her head once more in clear distinct sentences. That afternoon when she had arrived home from school her father had called her and her older sister Michelle into his office to tell them very surprising news. “I am so glad that you both are here” he replied happily as they sat down and he leaned across the mahogany desk, “I have wonderful news for you.” Her sister had looked up at him eagerly her eyes shining. “What is it daddy? What is your good news?” she had asked as the younger of the two sat with her arms slightly crossed a little worried by the sudden decision to talk to them both. Little did she know that the words that would be said would change her life forever.
