Yes, I hiss and spit abound
Yes, I rear and bite my foes,
Yes, I may bring you woes
Yes, I am different.
But I am not evil.
Just because an ancient passage
From an ancient book
Proclaims my ancestor led you into sin
Does not mean that I wish the same.
You who would gladly slaughter your own kin
With unsuppressed indifference
Would dare to call me the sinner.
Yes, I am different.
