I counted the nights
we were apart.

Whoever knew the mind could torture you so much?
Whoever knew the heart could ache so deeply?

Fate is cruel,
Only once a year.

But tonight is the night
we'll be together.

Tonight we'll be reunited,
and the birds will be our bridge.

(But tomorrow,
I'll be alone again.)

From the desk of the mental banana-waffle-pancake-pickle (goose-fork):

Today in the Chinese Lunar calendar, it is 7/7. The day Zhi Ni can reunite with her lover, Nu Long. It's really a sad myth, but I love it (Zhi Ni is a weaving goddess and Nu Long is an ordinary ox herder, yet they are lovers). Today unmarried Chinese girls are going to pray to Zhi Ni to ask for a lover...What do you bet I'm one of them? Haha...will I? I haven't made up my mind yet....maybe...just maybe...(TOO MANY ROMANCE NOVELS) Tonight I'll watch the rain fall...or if you're Chinese "Zhi Ni"s tears...

Btw, mucho thanks to my buddy-who-won't-let-me-call-her-Bovis-and-doesn't-like-any-nickname-I-give-her for uploading this. (I pray she does not mess up...)

Sumi-chan
