That before...I did care

I just want you to realize

What was truly there

We acted shy

Our feelings we didn’t share

And now its over

Is that really fair?

I look back now

And laugh at our past

It seems so pointless

It went by too fast

But I cannot return

The time that has passed

But I can remember

Joyful memories at last

So I thank you sincerely

This comes from inside

So I’ll take all my dignity

And walk away with pride

So thank you once again

For this exciting wondrous ride
