rest now little soul,

dry your weeping eyes.

night has thrown down

its shadowy blueness

around you like a cloak.

yesterday's heartbreaks

will melt in the breeze,

and tomorrow you will find

there is still so very much to do...

trees wave in darkness

as sounds of violins deep

in the forest resound.

you cannot change the past

but hope will appear at dawn.

take one footstep at a time

to cross these silvery shores.

release as the song begins,

run upon the beach, hopelessly

clinging to this life; for yet

your redemption will arise.
