| We Shall Try
Author: Jesse-Maxwell I decided take Creative Writing this year, and this is the first poem my teacher asked for. Origionaly, it was a much more depressing poem, and eventually I'll put that on here too. Please R&R!

We Shall Try
Though it is hard
And the future seems
Hopeless and bleak,
The hate can end and
We shall try.
We can better teach
Those who will one day
Lead our nation.
And though we may struggle,
We shall try.
The terrorists, murderers, felons
Will cower under our gaze.
We have the power to fight,
And fight we shall.
It can be done.
It has to start from birth;
We must show them love
From the very first day.
Tolerance, love, and caring
You are born with;
You are taught hate.
Teach the young ones,
Prevent them from learning
Hate, greed, injustice.
The world can be better, and
We shall try.
Jesse
