Dance of a Thousand Masks

Diverse blurs
Flick before your eyes,
Slicing through the wind.

Can you see it?

It’s the dance of a thousand masks,
Identity changes in a mere second,
Nothing clear, everything distinct.

Can you keep up?

Sadness,
Anger,
Joy,
Apathy.

It all seems familiar,
But things aren’t always what they seem.

Can you see beyond, to the true face?

From the desk of the mental banana-waffle-pancake-pickle (goose-fork):

I struggled with this piece so suggestions are welcome.

Chinese festivals can be rather interesting if you give them a chance. I usually only stay to watch the martial arts exhibitions, but Mum convinced me to watch this, and wow. Speed is of the essence as a thousand masks flash before your eyes in four minutes. Well, that’s all an estimation, of course.

On a random note, “Be My Escape” (Reliant K) rox )
