December

With a blanket of ivory ice and broken hearts.

I began, and now I cease.

Another scream fills the hollow wood.

My nevada of empty words.

Azure, ashen dreams,

With starless heavens.

I mother a new destiny,

Through black and night,

and virgin days.

Faded, ebony winter.

Shattered call of regret.

This is my shelter.

In death and salvation.
