Miss. Keep Your Distance
Chapter One Unwanted Mission
The dusty violet sky was transforming into a glorious sunrise, causing the sky to be splashed with hints of gold and orange. The tranquil urban area just outside the capital city was shattered by the crowing of roosters, and slowly, certainly lazily, the residents begun their daily routines blindly, ignoring the lone figure standing on the small grassy hill just a mile away from the capital city.
The lone figure on the hill is a girl, obviously just around 18 years old. The sun beamed upon her, giving her skin an oddly enchanting glow. Her soft wavy auburn hair trailed down to her waist, interweaved with small fresh roses, making her look ladylike. Dressed in a simple white frock, she appears to be a beautiful shy young maiden. Yet a closer look at her may cause all the theories about her to be rejected. Her mysterious emerald green eyes have a hint of steel. A glimmer of fire, even. And all notions about her delicateness were destroyed as she sprinted into fighting mode. A blade flew upon her hands suddenly, and swiftly she cuts through the empty air furiously.
Rose Adelaide Katen Ballantine stopped abruptly and stomped her feet, annoyed, letting her blade vanish once more.
It's useless anyway, the past can't be changed! She thought with disgust. I should never let my anger get hold of me!
Rose smiled softly as she relaxed. Beyond this hill is the capital, and in the center lays the magnificent castle. And that lays her newest mission.

“Ballantine. Ballantine.” Corin Faal said, prancing around his office, glaring at the girl.
“I got a new mission for you. You are to somehow get into the castle and spy on the Conservatives. We are the Radicals! We are not bounded by traditional ways and beliefs as they are. You are to gather information on their beliefs. Yet you must not show any violence. This is supposed to be peaceful.” He informed her sternly.
Rose moved a bit, eager to reply, to share her really not polite thoughts.
“No. Don’t speak. You are not allowed to refuse this mission. I got a source for you. Lady Ashford is searching for a protégée, and tomorrow would be her last stop, right in front of the palace. I expect you to use that to get into the castle. Good luck.” Faal said monotone, and sat down and start writing. Dismissing her without words. Rose clenched her fists and slowly walked out.
