Looking back on the life I lead gives me a lot of regret and wonderment. Thinking about what I could have been makes me realize how lucky I am to be what I am now. It amazes me. Even though I’m not exactly the best off, I’m better than what I was, but not the best I could be.

“Today is the day. It will be good. I have a feeling.” A tall, handsome man glanced at his reflection in the miniscule mirror. He quickly smoothed his chestnut locks and clicked his tongue as if there was a woman he was trying to impress or entice. Today was the day he was being tried in court for his dastardly deeds. The man quickly slipped into a genuine Armani suit and began practicing what he was going to say in his head. Out loud he counted down from ten as if he was expecting something.

“Sir it’s time.” A cop arrived and escorted him to his lawyer. The police officer then led them into a courtroom and seated them on the defendant’s side as they waited for the judge to arrive.

“All arise.” Everyone stood as the judge entered and seated herself. The judge was an elegant, yet harsh blond. This will be easier than I thought. The blond smoothed out her hair and stacked a bunch of papers together.

“Everyone please be seated as we begin the trials of Dr. Intelligent.” The defendant smiled. Why did they have to use that name?
