The Real Me
The dark corridors of my mind,
The silence of my thoughts,
Swirling together to create a felling of hatred and depression.
The smile of others makes me sick,
I envy their happiness and how they have it all,
No care in the world as they stroll along.
I snap at people keeping them away,
Not allowing them to see the real me,
A me that screams inside,
Full of hurt and pain,
A me who wants to be accepted,
To be set free from criticism and hate.
This one kinda has an ending. I might be getting better at this. Reviews are welcome.
