I never pledged my troth
To live and cherish you
Until death do us part
As the last line
Of a sentence
Mouthed in fragments
Falteringly
In a flower-strewn
Sanctuary.
I chose instead to pledge my troth
Until my last breath is gone
In simple language
Given continuity and meaning
In all the every days
I live to love you.
And thus, when you are gone,
I will have reason,
And right, to grieve.

Don't
Push me out for my mistakes,
Don't
Wrap your mind within my head then
Pull away to let me spin,
Don't
Kill my new beginnings with unwanted tests,
Take no heed of plaintive words,
Pull me up if you're my friend.
I dwell within your realm
But tripped upon a cloud somewhere
And dwindled, lost between two lands.
Don't
Push me out but feel the pain of patience.
Don't
Speak to me of peace or love
Unless even you can accept me
For what I am
Caught between here and then.
Grant me the impossible,
And I will believe in you.

Imagine tears
A smile wide and 4 years deep.
Imagine a chain of sorrow
Linking past with present, present with future...
Imagine no one to turn to;
Imagine a never-ending search for love
And a God that may not be.
Imagine all the pain and confusion.
Imagine me.
