Surgery Answers all Questions

So many unanswered questions

And feelings left unknown

Please just let me know right now

Because tonight I don’t want to go home

Tell me what you really think of me (if you do)

I finally will have you alone (so defenseless)

Doctor, I have a minor problem

(With so many unanswered questions, I’m constantly searching for answers)

Maybe the solution’s in this knife…

You have always been the constant

(Constantly connecting me with solid ties, but they fray and I am lost)

Doctor, I need your help

Where’s the instruction manual for this life?

So here I am again, walking in the darkest night

Why won’t you just come around?

(I’m outside of your house again)

Being with you feels so right

(But often you seem so distant)

I don’t know if you know I do,

Or if you know and feel the same way too

Doctor please won’t you just take this blade,

Cut deeply and precisely into his brain

Expose me to everything that you find

I need to know what is on your mind

Doctor, I have a minor problem,

(With so many unanswered questions, I’m constantly searching for answers)

Maybe the solution’s in this knife…

Incise the head, (be careful, I want to know everything)

Cauterize the wound, (don’t let anything leak away)

I am alone with you inside your head,

Come on babe, let’s paint this town red

(Red as the blood that spills on the floor)

(Doctor, this is serious, please don’t waste anymore)

So together we walk alone in the night

Shadows playing on your face in the glowing moon light

Uh oh, doctor, what is going on?

Something is happening, this is going very wrong

Sew him back together (I need this)

Can you please save him now? (I need him)

You have always been the constant

(Connecting me with solid ties, but now I’m lost)

Doctor, I need your help

(Put together what has been undone, although our surgery has just begun, if he doesn’t see another rising sun, fuck this knife, I’m going for the gun)

Doctor, I need your help

Where’s the instruction manual for this life?
