Who would’ve known he had such beautiful eyes? I would probably have been the last to know. I avoid direct eye contact unless I can’t help it. How could I resist? He had nice shoes.

We all know how hard it is to find a guy who has good taste in shoes. I happened to be looking at the ground when I spotted an eye-catching pair of shoes, toes pointed directly at me. I looked up to find a face carved by the gods with eyes that could pierce through a heart of steel.

When he looked at me, I was almost 99.89 sure he could see what I thought. My face burnt a bright red. When he looked at me, my tongue grew and filled my entire mouth, rendering itself useless and I would have run away if my legs worked. My legs wouldn’t move.

I was completely awestruck at this beautiful creature that stood in front of me. I wanted to say something but couldn’t make my mouth move and make proper English. He smiled.

I walked right by him. He was too perfect to be someone for me. He was probably one of those who would stick their nose up at the thought of me outside of this moment. Just another guy with a wonderful taste of shoes and with beautiful eyes. Not for me.
