“Here, let me help you.” He said bending over and gathering my books that went tumbling out of my arms and into the floor when we crashed into each other.
I bent over and picked up my compass that had done a flip across the breezeway and stabbed into my hand several times.
Some of his friends stopped a few feet ahead of him, waiting for him to catch up. He quickly handed me my books and was off. The moment had ended.
It is unfair how you wait for time to pass you by and it slowly drones on and when you’re having fun, it zooms past you. I still stood there. Had I just been within the presence of a god?
