Kchan: Another one of my not-so-happy poems, once again for Tobira's story, "The Nobody Tuesday" if she ever decides to update again. ::winks:: Just kiddding. Hope you all like it.

Gardenia

Who would have guessed,
That such a beautiful flower,
Could have such ugly thorns?
You can’t stand upright anymore,
And face the sun.
Instead, I watch as you, my poor flower,
Wilt and rot on the cold floor.
You poisonous flower,
You can’t sting me anymore,
Your ugly thorns have no grip on me.
And as you wilt and fade away,
I won’t have to look at you anymore.
