The stars have been a wonder

Since time began

And people have looked up at them

When on sea and on land

Some people thought that stars were angels,

Flying high on silver wings

Others thought that they were spirits

Of long deceased kings

That there's a star for all of us

And each and everyone has a spirit inside

That we can trust
