Love what is your reaction

These two poems I wrote are a reflection I had on the topic of love after something happened to someone I love. The last is not really poem but more a song of sorts. yeah it would be nice if someone would read it and comment. Thanks!

When you love someone
you should be willing to give up something
time, thought, feelings
there must be a balance
or else it is abuse
You take advantage of someones kindness
they ask why or just accept it
because they realize that
this is wrong or don't want to give up
on hope
that way you'll change
