You approached me with ease,

as you seeked me out for a dance.

The first time our hands touched,

it was in the movie theatre.

During an annual class outing,

when your hand accidentally brushed against mine.

The first time that we kissed,

it was on our wedding night.

You claimed me with a gentle kiss,

for desires clouded both our minds.

The first time you made me cry

was because you've broken your promise.

You failed to come back to my side

for you had died on the battlefield.

Tears of anguish flow like river,

as I wept and mourned during your funeral.
