How would something end this way? She was speaking her last few words, and they were being sent off into the air,
reaching all of those in the town, and maybe further.

She toyed with the idea of having a completely up beat song, maybe one with heavy riffs and care-free lyrics. But she knew that she didn't feel that way at all. Maybe a slow, methodical with long meloncholy strings.

No, too sad. It was the end of something great, yes, but not a bad desicion. She had already accepted what was to come, and knew that the future would bring something even more astounding.

There wasn't a real way to pick a song that would sum up all of what the show meant. To end it without music would be a insult to everyone inteantly listening. She knew her friends would be tuning it, some in the cars,
others gathering in groups next to their radios. Nothing like this had ever been so popular.

The listeners where so engaged that no one dared to disturb this monumental finish by calling in. There was nothing for anyone but the host to say. The host, in her own words, decided to end the show how she wanted it, and only she could do it right.

She hoped for a call, or someone to come bargining in. Something to distract her from making the choice. Not every one would like what she played, but she was trying to find the perfect song, the perfect end.

She finished her monolouge, her address to all the fans and supporters. Slowly, she took the headset off her head,
brushing her hair back and breathing slightly. In just a few seconds, a song would start playing. Whatever went on woudl be the end, and she couldn't control anything else after.
