DannyGurl75: I’ll help you! Just stop it, please. It hurts me to see you so tormented.

Misplaced-Keys: ...I’m sorry.

DannyGurl75: Don’t say that. You’ve nothing to be sorry for.

Misplaced-Keys: Yes I do. I never meant for you to see me like this.

DannyGurl75: You didn’t?

Misplaced-Keys: Of course not. I’ve been dealing with this for years and never needed anyone to lean on. Hey, you’re not crying, are you? Don’t cry! Really, if it all bugs you this much, we don’t have to talk about it. We can pretend it never happened.

DannyGurl75: You jerk! You idiot! You stupid, stupid girl! That’s not why I’m crying!

Misplaced-Keys: Then why on earth are you crying?

DannyGurl75: Because you weren’t going to tell me!

Misplaced-Keys: Of course I wasn’t going to! Do you honestly think we’ll have been as comfortable around each other after this? It’s going to totally change our relationship as it is!

DannyGurl75: I still wish you had told me, instead of letting me find out like this.

Misplaced-Keys: Danielle, I’ve been dealing with this for longer than we’ve known each other. It’s not a big deal.

DannyGurl75: ...

Misplaced-Keys: Danny, please don’t be angry with me. I didn’t want you to think I was some kind of weakling who couldn’t deal with her own problems.

DannyGurl75: You don’t always have to be the strong one who can protect everyone.

Misplaced-Keys: But I’d like to be.

DannyGurl75: But you can’t be, Shawna! It’s not healthy!

Misplaced-Keys: I want to at least try. I have to.

DannyGurl75: biiiig sigh Look, babe, I want you to know that I’ll be there for you, no matter what, but I’m going to need a few days to sort all this out.

Misplaced-Keys: Gotcha. I can do that. Just...

DannyGurl75: Yeah?

Misplaced-Keys: I know this is going to change some things, but let’s keep it down to a minimum, ok, Danny?

DannyGurl75: Of course. Look, I gotta go. Mom wants me to get ready for hockey practice.

Misplaced-Keys: ‘Kay. Bye.
