you know that point in life where nothing is working?

where everything seems to be failing you?

your parents are mad at you

your grades suck

you doubt you'll be able to get into college

you don't have any real friends

you don't have a real life...

you just want to run away

don't yell at me,

don't try to hurt me

i'm determined, you cant persuade me

i'm strong, you cant force me

i'm broken on the inside, you aren't trying to fix me

so just go away

if you don't i will

Iwill.

it seems like everyone is out to tear you apart

they probably are...

your mom storms out of the house, already late for work

you stand behind the locked door of your room

looking out your window, waiting to finally see that car leave your driveway

It does.

Why are you not in Spanish class right now? having fun with your friends?

You sigh and sit on your bed, thinking of what to load into the trunk of your car

for when you drive away

a couple shirts

your cell phone and charger

why not your books, too? They've been cluttering your floor anyways

your mp3 player and it's charger

your pair of really comfortable jeans

dont forget your debit card

and your laptop

thinking of it, you open it up

and wonder if you really will just drive away

or sit on your bed and write all day.
