If only I could see the light
Become who I should be
My unkind heart is shattered now
A life no longer free
Some words I've said have gone too deep
A dream I've crushed today
And yet that soul has held her head
Up high along the way
My cruelty seeps from in my skin
Now blunt for all to see
How could I have been like this
Maybe what's wrong is me
