Lately it seems that I've been writing more romance oriented poems; which is, a little weird. Either way, unhappy, pining romance coming to you all. And no . . . Mizu is still not pining, for all who feel the need to say that she is. Right, anyway . . . please read, review, and recommend!

When I look at you, think of you
See you leading her down the hall
I’m sure that I go colorblind
Because everything turns green

Fluorescent goes from white to lime
And her smile fades way to emerald
It’s a monochrome atmosphere
Everything but you, glowing green

You’re the only thing in color
Seen with the light deep in my eyes
It would just take away your shine
If I were to paint you dark green

But it sits deep inside of me
The creature that turns all things green
Glaring out at her perfect grin
And wishing to rip it apart

So that she may bleed endless green
Never to see you, speak with you
Or take you in and then break you
The creature in me sees and screams

But that’s the last thing I would do
Because I know, the monster knows
That’s she’s the thing that makes you live
So you’ll never see my green eyes
